Founded in 1883, Château Lapourcaud is located in the heart of the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, on well-exposed slopes. This 10-hectare vineyard benefits from a wide diversity of soils, predominantly clay with sandy and gravelly areas. The vines, aged between 25 and 60 years, were taken over in 2020 by the current owner, and the estate obtained the "High Environmental Value" (HVE) certification in 2024.

Composed of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, the blend gives a warm red wine, with fine tannins and a fruity taste.
