Château Lapourcaud: a family story since 1883

Located in Cézac, at the heart of the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, our 12-hectare estate benefits from exceptional terroir. Our clay-limestone soils, typical of the right bank, give our wines their distinctive character.

Our Terroir

The clay-limestone soils of Cézac provide natural water regulation and bring minerality to our wines. Our vines, with an average age of 35 years, are rooted deep into this terroir to express all its richness.

Our Grape Varieties

Merlot (70%): Our king grape, it brings roundness, fruitiness and suppleness to our wines.

Cabernet Sauvignon (30%): It brings structure, tannins and aging potential.

Certified High Environmental Value level 3, we are committed to sustainable viticulture: grass cover between rows, reduced inputs, preservation of biodiversity, natural pest management.
